Brad Payne is one of golf's most interesting new entrepreneurs. After working with tech giant Apple, he ventured out on his own to found Walker Trolleys. They make what is unquestionably the most beautiful push-cart in golf. His product first started turning heads at the 2020 PGA merchandise show which is where we first met. I've wanted a Walker Trolley of my own ever since seeing Brad's in action that week at the Winter Park 9. Since the PGA show, Brad and I have stayed in touch. I've been thrilled to follow his company's progress as the popularity of the Walker Trolley has exploded during the COVID19 golf boom. As a religious walking golfer, I love what the Walker Trolley represents. With the recent announcement of No Laying Up's investment in the company, Walker Trolleys is poised for even more success. This week, Brad joins me for a discussion about how golf is a good fit for those with an entrepreneurial spirit, the importance of good design, the golf scene in Austin, Texas, and some of the places he's taken the Walker Trolley so far. I'm hoping my wife will listen so that she knows what to get me for Christmas.
